Wednesday was the most stressful day of my life and I hope I don't have anyother one like it any time soon! ( That morning my wrought iron plant stand tried to kill my puppy. )
In other news, regarding my own health, I saw an OB/GYN yesterday and he didn’t examine me, he just went over the pictures from an ultrasound I had done about three weeks ago. He showed me the lump in the left ovary and my polycystic right ovary. He said that ovaries are very dynamic and that things could change from month to month and that it’s possible the lump is nothing more than a blood clot. So, he wants me to go in for another ultrasound, which I’m going to do on the 18th. He also had me get my blood drawn for a test to rule out ovarian cancer.
I’m not worried about it at this point, not even in the slightest. Because there’s really no point in being worried. I could sit around and think about how I might die or I might have to have surgery or how I might never have kids, but it seems silly when nothing has been confirmed. So, at this point, I’m just waiting.
So, now that you've read all about my good news, what's going on with everyone else? |

Anyway, I watched the movie Cursed, which was pretty silly and lame. But, I looked up just in time to see Lance (!) entering a club with his posse. Heh, some things never change. :) |

Have you ever had an off day and everybody notices? For some reason, I'm in a shitty mood. But, since I've been at work, my boss has told me I seem sluggish and another boss basically asked me if I could get to work. As if I haven't been doing anything.
Does that make me feel better or pull me out of my funk? What do you think?

This weekend, my sister came up from Las Vegas and we had a birthday party for her. I gave her framed pictures that we had taken a year and a half ago, which were a big hit. I LOVE me in these pictures. That was back when I was thin(ner).

At the party were my parents, one set of grandparents, an aunt, uncle and cousin, both my brothers (Andrew and Alex) and Andrew's girlfriend Courtney. After dinner, Andrew (22) and Courtney (27) announced their engagement. Yay! I love her! I'm so excited for them.
In my relationship news . . . there isn't any. Well, there was a guy who sent me a long email on match.com last Monday. I finally got around to emailing him back on Saturday. I got a reply from him today. It said, "Oh yeah, I do remember you. I'm pursuing a relationship and I thought I should let you know, rather than leave you hanging. Bye."
Huh. I hope they have a nice wedding. Well, it was nice of him to let me know. |

I just get so busy at work that I don't have time to email or check LJ. I haven't clocked out for lunch all week. And, when I get home, I don't want to be in front of the computer anymore. Ugh. So, I guess I'll have to catch up this weekend.
And I need to clean this weekend, too. At least I get to visit Gus on Sunday. :) |

I'm going to pick up Studley Dudley in a few minutes and he'll be staying with me for a week. I'm very excited. Dudley is my sister's dad's pug. Yes, "sister's dad" sounds weird - she's actually my half-sister. Anyway, Dudley and Otis will get to hang out all week. This will be good practice for Otis, who will be getting a litter brother (Gus) in May.
Gus was just born on Saturday and he's actually part of Otis' sister's first little. I think I'm going to call him Uncle Otis now. ;)

Alas, I have not used this journal as often as planned. I guess I think my life is not quite exciting enough for people to want to read about it. And, alas again, I have no sparkly news to share, because I get mine from everyone on my friend's list.
Speaking of that friend's list, I've been out of the *NSYNC loop for going on two years now (save for my 12 hours in Miami last summer) and I haven't maintained fandom friendships the way I should have. So, now that the CFTC dates have been announced, I have to beg of my limited friend's list.
Would anyone be willing to room with/share a car with/sit with me in Chicago? My plan is to be there from Thursday afternoon to Sunday night. And I don't bite . . . much.
Also, if anyone on your friend's lists is looking for someone, send them my way, please? |
